Hi I’m Greg Lavoie, the proud owner of Chaparral Hunting Adventures. I would like for you to know a little bit about myself.
I was introduced to hunting and the outdoor world at a very young age, my first hunting trip was a Whitetail deer hunt at age 7. When the air cooled and the leaves started to turn my Dad and three older brothers were always willing to take the little brother along. It didn’t take long to develop a passion for hunting and the outdoors. When fall rolls around you can be sure I will be out in the forest enjoying every minute out there.
It has been a life long dream of mine to be able to share my passion with others and there is no better way to do it then the outfitting industry! I have been involved in the outfitting industry for several years as a guide working with my brother. Chaparral will be my full time job and will have my undivided attention. We are very excited for the future of Chaparral Hunting Adventures!

I have been fortunate enough to have always called Saskatchewan my home. I have hunted the Turtle Lake area for over 20 years. It was only natural that my path in life lead to guiding.
The crew at Chaparral is second to none. I always look forward to meeting new clients as well as seeing all of our returning clients/friends.

Hi, my name is Steve Bartlett. I have been fishing and hunting the Turtle Lake and area for 30 plus years and am excited to join the Chaparral Hunting Adventures Team. I look forward to showing our Chaparral clients what Saskatchewan has to offer, possibly harvesting a world class Whitetail, Bear or catching a trophy fish.

Hi my name is Nick Odishaw, born and raised in Saskatchewan. I have been hunting and fishing the turtle lake area for 10 years now.
I am excited to have joined the Chaparral Hunting Adventures team. Our crew is top notch. I look forward to showing our clients some true Saskatchewan black bear and whitetail giants.
LOGAN SMITH
GUIDE
Hi, my name is Logan Smith, I’m 20 years old. I am a true farm boy, born and raised in Saskatchewan and live on our family farm. I have been hunting with my dad since I was young,hunting bear, deer and moose, as well as trapping and fishing in my spare time. Hunting is a big part of my life. I had the opportunity to work as a hunting guide with Ron Lavoie, learning many things over the seasons guiding for him.
Experiencing someone get their first animal is very exciting. I have sat in a tree stand for many hours waiting for the right one to come in and it does happen in time. This last year was very eventful for me, and I wasn’t sure what the outcome would be. I think I came back stronger and from what I hear, they call me the hulk. I look forward to guiding you this coming season as part of the Chaparral crew.
BERNICE DUHAIME
COOK
I grew up on a farm in the Spiritwood area and have always called northwest Saskatchewan home. I enjoy the outdoors and love sharing in the excitement of the hunters in their quest for that amazing trophy whitetail deer or black bear.
I am excited to have joined the Chaparral team of Greg, Shelley, and their experienced guides. I have over 30 years of cooking experience and love trying new ideas and recipes. I look forward to gathering new clients and old friends together in the dining room for good food, great conversation and long lasting new friendships.
