2026 Spring Bear Hunt Week V

Rut Week 

Rut Week did not disappoint! We were chasing some big mature boars, as we all know the surest way to harvest a big bear is to hunt him once you find him. The hardest part is closing the deal on one! We were able to do just that on 2 great Saskatchewan black bears. 2 bears over the 300 pound mark and both over 20” skull measurements!

Of course we were hunting 5 other big boys…, but they did not make a mistake. We will get after them in the fall and if it doesn’t happen. We will see them in the spring of 2027.
