2026 Spring Bear Hunt Week III

A Perfect Week

With the nasty spring blizzard of last week behind us, week #3 was fun and exciting! By day 3 of a 5 day hunt we were batting 100%! We set a camp record with 5 Black Bears in one night.

Time to go Fishing

With all the Black Bears taken care of on Wednesday, there was time to go for some amazing fishing on Turtle Lake.

Spring sure felt like Spring this week. Sunny skies and warmer weather made for easy sits by the hunters. The ground feed is still scarce, however, so the baits are getting plenty of attention by the Black Bears.
