GREG LAVOIE
OWNER / GUIDE

Hi I’m Greg Lavoie proud new owner of Chaparral Hunting Adventures. I would like for you to know a little bit about myself.

I was introduced to hunting and the outdoor world at a very young age, my first hunting trip was a White Tail deer hunt at age 7. When the air cooled and the leaves started to turn my Dad and three older brothers were always willing to take the little brother along. It didn’t take long to develop a passion for hunting and the outdoors. When fall rolls around you can be sure I will be out in the forest enjoying every minute out there.

It has been a life long dream of mine to be able to share my passion with others and there is no better way to do it then the Outfitting industry! I have been involved in the Outfitting industry for several years as a guide working with my brother. Chaparral will be my full time job and will have my undivided attention. We are very excited for the future of Chaparral Hunting Adventures!

CALVIN PANKRATZ
GUIDE

Hi, my name is Calvin Pankratz and I am very excited to be joining the Chaparral team.

I have hunted this area for over 30 years and have recently moved here to call this area my home. Every fall I look forward to getting out into the forest to prepare for the upcoming hunting seasons. I am looking forward to guiding and giving Chaparral's clients the opportunity to harvest a world class whitetail or black bear.

I look forward to meeting Chaparral's client's and working with the team to make everyone's hunt a memorable adventure.

TROY VOGT
GUIDE

Life has always been an outdoor adventure for me, whether it was with the neighborhood hunting guy taking me out to push bush for him or hanging out waiting to load up my Dads gear after he was done DJ'ing that wedding and impersonating Elvis.

Fastfoward to the last 14 years, my wife and I have been guiding our kids on new outdoor adventures, like snowmobiling, fishing for big lakers or hunting Deer and Black Bear.

During all this I realized sharing this passion and constantly learning this passion for the outdoors is what I need to do!

So on that note as Greg & Shelley’s newest Guide I'm very stoked to have the opportunity to live my passion as a guide for Chaparral Hunting Adventures.

BARRY MILNE
GUIDE

I started guiding deer hunters in the fall of 1996. I have not missed a year of guiding since that date. I joined the Chaparral gang in about 2006. The fact that I’m still working for Chaparral speaks for itself! During the pre-season and five weeks of guiding we work hard. The hours are long and at times the weather is nasty. However, many’s the time when, after deploying my hunters in the early morning, I stop my side by side to admire the rising sun. I often tell myself how lucky I am to be there enjoying nature at its best. Bring on November!

ARCHIE MACLEOD
GUIDE

My guiding career started in Northern Saskatchewan with Cliff Blackmuir’s Athabasca fishing and hunting camps. I guided for Pike and bear for 10 years. I also managed an outpost camp on Engler Lake. I have guided for Chaparral for 7 years. The friendships that have been made will last a lifetime. It’s always great when your hunter shoots a great buck.
