October 9 – Baiting has begun
Barry, Arch and myself have been out cleaning trails and preparing baits for the upcoming season. We also managed to shoot a few Ruffed Grouse. It’s that time of year when hunter excitement builds and frequently guys want to know the temperature and if we have any snow yet. Well it’s dam cold now, -10 C this morning and snow. I agree this helps the hunting but it could have waited until Nov.1st.
The baiting is going well and guides are ready to show our friends from down south a great week. I will add a few pictures of the last few days activities. Somehow Barry managed to avoid the camera this week but maybe next week I can get him smiling for a few pictures?
Take care everyone, Trent Debusschere.
