October 5, 2016 – Plenty of beer sticks and sausage for the camp

Chaparral’s lodge is back up and running for another year of preseason baiting. Trails are being cleaned up and shortly blinds will go in to the locations that have shooter bucks. Yesterday parts of the province had snow and although it missed us the temperature sure dropped.
Many trail cameras are out and things are looking great, so patience is a key. Barry, Arch and Dave put in 2 full days on the trails and I thank them for their hard work.
Arch guided Dennis and myself on a moose hunt around his area at Turtleford and we will have plenty of beer sticks and ️sausage for the camps liking. We ended up shooting a young bull that will provide some delicious meals.
I will leave you some pics of what’s happening around camp these days.
