May 10, 2015 – New trail-lines

First off I want to wish all the moms out there a Happy Mother’s Day, as family is everything.

I have talked often about using all of our territory to its full capacity and soon realized the biggest obstacle I have is getting beyond the swamps, sloughs and beaver dams that limit our range until everything freezes over.    Last year freeze up occurred around the 9th of November.  This time frame didn’t sit well with me so Chaparral bought an Argo and this will allow us to bait and go everywhere regardless of weather conditions.  The last two days I put the Argo to the test and it works awesome.  However after two days of chain sawing my way around overgrown cut lines I was dead tired but very pleased at the game trails I found.

John and I have several cameras running now and the Bucks antlers are starting to grow, and the deer look in great shape.
I will leave you with a few deer pics and a couple pics of the Argo.
