June 18, 2015 – Eichelbergers carry on family traditions

whitetail deer at Chaparral Hunting AdventuresI was talking to Kent Ringham the other day and he has finished up all the deer mounts from last fall, Kent does a great job mounting your trophy buck, he will send me some photos to post on the web. I did get a picture of Aaron Eichelberger’s finished mount and it looks great!!  This was Aaron’s first trip to Chaparral and he is a third generation hunter of the Eichelberger family.  His grandfather Lloyd shot a tremendous 189 buck and father Rich has also taken B&C bucks.  Well Aaron had a large task in topping these past giants harvested.  His buck was a good first deer and I enjoyed having Aaron and family in camp.  Maybe next time at Chaparral we can find Aaron a buck that rivals his father’s and grandfather’s.

Currently Jackie and I are giving the camp a new coat of stain on the bunkhouse and lodge, it is a fairly big task when I can hear fish lips smacking ( the walleye are biting good or so I am told ), lastly have a great Father’s Day weekend.
