December 5, 2016 – Week 5 Successful Hunters

Hello everyone another season is in the books and week 5 started strong with five deer down by Tuesday at noon. Then we had some slow days followed with almost everyone tagging out late in the week. Congratulations to a very special “Uncle Bill” who is 91 years young and shot a bruiser of a buck.

Our cold temperatures arrived today and although it was five weeks late our season was still very successful. Approximately 90 % of our hunters tagged out and although a few went home empty handed, everyone had deer to shoot.

This week brings a bunch of clean up and still some baiting but otherwise things are winding down. Once again it was fun to meet new hunters in camp and catch up with returning hunters. A big thanks to all the staff for another great year with lots of laughs and companionship.
With November being extremely mild our deer are benefitting tremendously and things are looking good for next season. A big thanks to everyone who was apart of our Chaparral Family this year for their continued business, it’s much appreciated.

Like always I shall leave you with more pictures of last weeks successful hunters.
